The Bear Lake County Library District offers the following services for adults of Bear Lake County, Idaho.
Current fiction, best-sellers, and non-fiction. We receive new books weekly and will gladly accept recommendations on what you would like us to purchase. We will gladly reserve a book for you if the one you want is out.
Newspapers and magazines. We subscribe to the following newspapers: News-Examiner, Idaho State Journal, Idaho Statesman, Salt Lake Tribune, USA Today, and The Wall Street Journal. We subscribe to approximately 100 magazines, and have electronic database access to another 1800 magazines.
Reference services -- we will search for answers to your reference questions, using in-house materials, internet, and magazine databases.
Memory book service -- when a loved one has passed away, you can donate a book in the loved one's memory. Just ask the librarian, she will be glad to explain the program to you.
Fax service -- we have a fax machine and can send or receive faxes for you at a nominal cost.
Income Tax Forms are available at the library all year round. We carry the Federal forms and also the Idaho forms.
Inter-library loan services are available for when you absolutely need a book that we don't own. Just ask Betsy Beck, our inter-library loan librarian to get you that book from another library.
