This book is just plain interesting. It's neat and kind of scary to see how many animals we might not have discovered. A very interesting read.

Wow. That's about all you can say after you finish these books. Wow. This series explores the idea of a civilization that existed before humans and influenced all of our mythology, legends, and darkest fears. The civilization known to the very few as the Elder race. This book has it all: real-life characters, believable plot line, death, sorrow, humor, and powerful scenes that send chills down your back. The second book amazingly enough, just turns up the heat. Literally. This is a series well worth reading.
