Beastly, by Alex Flinn
Why we like it:
I picked this book off of the shelf when I was taking inventory. I read the back of it inadvertantly while I was checking the barcode, and I was hooked just that quickly. This story is a modern retelling of Beauty and the Beast, and it's a top-notch read. I stayed up all night just because I couldn't put it down. The characters are so amazingly life-like that the book pulls you in immediately. This is now one of my all time favorite books.
