Why we like it:

This book is a visual treat, that shows in detail how the brain is built, from a single cell to the entire human head, in a manner that is not gruesome at all. A good book for future science students.

Why we like it:

This book has everything a boy could ever want to read. Full of pictures, diagrams, and step by step instructions on almost any subject imaginable.

Why we like it:

A very in depth story of how the first spacecraft reached the moon. Very interesting and full of details.

The American Story, by Jennifer Armstrong

Why we like it:

This has been declared "a wonderful gift to the children of this country." This book contains 100 true stories from American History, and it is truly a treasure.

Phineas Gage, by John Fleischman

Why we like it:

This is interesting to science, but the pictures are a little gory in places. This is a true and, as the title says, gruesome tale.
